Minneapolis Transportation Interchange – Involving the public as a subcontractor for Hennepin County (Minnesota), as our consulting team develops design recommendations for a major intermodal station.
Researcher, Writer, Transit for Livable Communities – Gathered and analyzed city planning practices in support of bicyclists and pedestrians, to help jump start Bike Walk Twin Cities. Wrote transit policy briefs.
Land Use Coordinator, Northstar Commuter Rail project – Gathered data from cities along the line regarding their land use plans that would support FTA application. Helped these cities learn about best practices and share information with each other.
Community Engagement Consultant, iSeek Solutions, ISEEK.org – Managed a community engagement project to improve information on postsecondary education for underserved audiences through interviews with students and their advisors in community-based settings.
Project Manager, Beehive web site, Nexus Community Partners (formerly Payne-Lake Community Partners) –Implemented the program from a concept to operations. Forged and strengthened a complex web of relationships with diverse community groups on service delivery.
Community Liaison, Green Institute – Delivered regular, clear communications between a myriad of community groups and the development team during several stages of a $190 million redevelopment project.
Project Manager, Software Localization, Oracle (formerly Stellent Inc.) – As an engineering staff member, led and coordinated efforts to localize our software into five human languages. This effort involved managing and tracking a budget of $500,000 and coordinating the work of over forty technical staff members.
Software Architect and Developer, Cornell University Press – Designed and implemented an organization-wide information system, radically improving operations and achieving return on investment in less than two years.
Technology Consultant, Computing as a Second Language – Founded and operated a successful consulting and training business. Developed efficient, sensible systems for over forty organizations and over fifty individuals. Utilized subcontractors.
